Hi! I didn't know your email so I thought I'd leave a comment. Yes, I make my poem art in Photoshop. I usually start with some sort of texture and then it is just a matter of finding complimentary type faces and then adding a little detail with a small graphic and some dodging and burning.
Do you use Photoshop? There is a site called dafont.com that has a huge arsenal of free fonts you can pick through and a site called Stock Exchange sxc.hu that has free stock photography. Let me know if you have any questions or need any help :)
